Explore - altered art for Finnabair

Hi everyone! Marta here...

It is so good to be back. I love this moment... back to you with another piece of my soul.
The best thing about creating is sharing... sharing projects, ideas, feelings... inspirations... sharing love for art.
I have another mixed media based project for you. I was so lucky to have a chance to already play with brand new paints from Finnabair. Those colours are to dye for!

I have also prepared some very short and sweet photo tutorial.
I started with plain, plastic frame which I covered and primed with heavy white gesso.

My next step was to add some metal findings to create some background texture. I glued them using heavy body gel.
One of my favourite finding is car wheel weights :) yes you heard me :)

When all the background elements where glued I started paiting my piece using brand new colours from Art Alchemy from Finnabair. Once everything was dry I added some paper Prima Marketing flower embellishments and chipboards from Scrapiniec.

As my finish touches I added some white splashes with Lindy's Stamp Gang spray and shiny tiny gems which I love recently. I hope you enjoyed this make and be sure to check out the new colours... you will love them.
