'Freedom' mixed media canvas

Hello my friends,

Welcome back everyone.

Happy to share another mixed media project with you. This piece is part of Finnabair creative team. Recently I have been inspired by friends who created their pieces on round bases. I loved it a lot and decided to get some round canvas.

I must say it is a different feeling while creating but I think I prefered the circle shape of my piece.

I started with glueing some cheese cloth to my base, I used 3D matte gel. My next step was to add some texture. I sticked some small art stones and mica flakes.

When everything was dry I covered it with white gesso. Lastly I added plenty embellishments like melange, mechanicals, paper flowers and resins.

When my composition was dry I used Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays.

Workshops in UK - October 2016 - Marta Lapkowska

Hello my friends !

Today some super exciting news!

I am back to UK to Middlesbrough at the Riverside 29/30 October 2016 to teacj four mixed media classes!

Steampunk Mixed Media Journal Cover Tutorial + Video Tutorial

Hi everyone,

I am back to you with another mixed media piece share.
This make is done for Australian chipboard company Dusty Attic!

I need to admit that creating book covers is one of my most favourite ways of using chipboards.

Today is no different. I have some rusted journal cover tutorial for you.

I used my most favourite Script stencil and modeling paste from Dusty.

Additionally I added frame as my big focal point. Be sure to check frames in the shop as there is a huge choice!

I love the colours and rust luck of my piece. You will see how many colours and different mediums I used to achieve this effect.

Today I wish to take a minute and talk a little about a kit club!

My Creative Scrapbook kit club it's a great place to get your kit!

I am happy to design my projects there for over two years! 

I love every single kit that was created by Pam. Not only that the kits are always pretty but also filled with matching beauties that would make everyone possible to create some outstanding creations.
