Guest Designer for Words & Paintery + VIDEO tutorial

Hi guys,
How are you ?

I hope you are good and all is well. I have to say I am so happy to be back to you!
I am honoured and super excited to share with you my make for todays guest designer post for Words & Paintery.
The mood board was trully an inspiration for me.

I decided to create a rusted looking tag. All the browns and yellows were perfect for the old, vintage, rusty look. I need to admit... project was out of my comfort zone but I trully enjoyed the process. I hope you will find it inspirational enough to play in this month challenge.
Just for you gyus, I have also prepared a full video tutorial. Sit back, relax and I hope enjoy!

Magical projects

Hi everyone,
Do you remember my last month post? All about magicals?
I am mentioning this because todays projects are directly connected with my last month techniques.
If you didn't see it (video included) please click here.

I created two project using backgrounds from my previous post.
Last time I promised you video... but unfortunatelly I must have deleted them accidently.
At least I have my finished projects which I am super happy to share today.

You can see that both backgrounds were created with magicals. I love this technique as it's easy and fun. You can use this to any project you wish. I hope you will grab your magicals and do some art!

You can buy magicals HERE :)

Mini Album Tutorial by Marta Lapkowska

Hello everyone,
Like every month today I am coming back to you with brand new project followed by full video tutorial.
This time I have something different than my usual works. I decorated a cute mini album.

I used script stencil which created some beautiful and delicate texture.

I love the idea of mini albums, storing there your most favourite photos and memories.
I didn't do the inside part this time but I am sure I will decorate the pages another time.

I loved the chipboard frame used in this project, perfect delicate embellishment to your project.

Art Beyond

Hi everyone,
It's Marta Lapkowska here.
New month and new inspiration. Today I am back with quite a simple project that I hope everyone can do. I used an old computer part which I think had already got great design. I am sure you have some similar items at home. :)
I love using not so obvious and interesting recycled items.

I started by covering my computer part with Black Gesso.

Next step was to choose the colours that would bring my item to life.
I am in total love with new Art Alchemy acrylic paints from Finnabair. I adore the stunning colour palette and fantastic consistency.

I decided to go for reds and pinks with addition of gold. You can check the exact colours I chose in the links at the bottom of the post.
For shading and blending I used White and Black Gesso.

As my final touches I added few new Mechanicals.
These "rusted" pieces perfectly matched my make.

Happy creating!
