Witajcie kochani !

I hope you are all good.

I am sure you are in the rush of Christmas prepartions. Am I right ?

This year I decided to slow it down. We got our Christmas tree up only today... I hope to spend more time 'doing nothing' and enjoy family time without all this running and getting ready.

So far it is working, we are watching telly together, laugh and eat some sweet treats.

Happy days.

Mam nadzieje, ze u Was wszystko dobrze.

Zapewne szykujecie sie do swiat, czyz nie ?

W tym roku zdecydowalam zwolnic, dopiero dzis ubralismy choinke... Mam nadzieje, ze spedzimy wiecej czasu 'nic nie robiac' i cieszac sie rodzinnym czasem bez tej gonitwy.

Poki co udaje sie nam, cisza i spokoj, ogladanie wspolnie telewizji, smiech i wcinanie lakoci.

Szczescie.

Today I wish to quickly share with you my journal page. I ceated this work for Lindy's Stamp Gang current colour challenge. 

Dzis chcialam tak szybko pokazac Wam moj nowy wpis do dziennika. Praca ta powstala dla Lindy's Stamp Gang, na obecne kolorystyczne wyzwanie. Lindy to producent sprayow, farb itp.

I used gelli plate to create my backround. Did you ever play with a gelli plate ? If not, make sure you will have a go. There is so many possibilities with this 'craft toy'. You can use sprays, paints, stencils and so on. I am still discovering it myself.

Uzylam zelowej tabliczki to stworzenia tla. Znacie te tabliczke ? Jesli nie to koniecznie musicie sprobowac. Tak wiele jest mozliwosci, mozecie uzyc sprayow, farb.

Goodbye ScrapFX - my last mixed media pieces / Pozegnanie ze ScrapFX tekturkami

Hello everyone,
I am coming back to you with some news. My creative journey with ScrapFX australian chipboard manufacturer has come to an end.
I have enjoyed this company, their chipboards, stamps and stencils very much.
I created lots mixed media works which their prodcuts and I must say it was lot of fun.
As my last projects I created small mixed media canvas and journal page.

DIY mini journal VIDEO - recycled envelopes - fast & easy

Hello my friends :)

Today I would love to show you fast and easy way to create your very own mini journal.

All you need is few envelopes and a tape.

For some reason I had looots envelopes in my stash. I decided it's time to do some good use with it.

Envelopes are great as you can hide small notes, photos etc.

I also created mixed media cover.

Christmas cards for Prima as Finnabair Creative Team

Hello there !

Let it shine! It's Christmas time !

I am so happy to share with you my glitter, Christmas inspirations for Prima as part of Finnabair Creative Team member.

Please take a look at my Christmas cards. They were created with small wooden pieces. I had quite a lot of those branches in my stash and hundreds of creative visions. I could see the Christmas tree right away and the wooden star came second.

 

 

In both cards the backround was created with Prima paper from Finnabair's Sunrise Sunset collection. Here and there, I covered the branches with Heavy White Gesso and while the gesso was still wet, I sprinkled it with white Glitter from 'Ebony & Ivory' set. I was trying to achieve the effect of snow on the wood. I also added some Soft Matte Gel medium sprinkled with glitter.

 

 

In both cards those cute green dots in the middle were made with hot glue gun and glitter. You can create your own shiny crystals with glitter and glue.

I hope you have enjoyed this close to nature christmas inspiration.
