Hello & Hi :)

Each time I am back to my blog... each time I am about to start a blog post I feel I should apologise for my absence in blogging.

Each time I also promise myself to come back more often :) 

I promise to try !

It's been a while but... I am back with something so super cute. 

For ages I wanted to create some nice project with paint samples. 

I had many ideas but nothing special that I felt for... until now!

The idea is very simple... be sure to use similar colours of your embellishments as your cards.

I am sure you have many many scrapbooking papers to choose from :)

I hope my video will encourage you to create your own cards.

Not only those are fun but also a great addition to your gifts or just an embellishment for your regular cards. If you will create some please be sure to use #RainbowTinyCards in your post so I can find you on the social media.

My sweet friends !!!

Let's start with saying few words about Maremi's Creative Cafe! What is it?

Oh boy, where will I start? 

It's a place created just for YOU. Everyone can joinand it's free !

Following your need of being part of loving place where you can share your daily craft I created this Creative Cafe just for you.
I wish this place to become inspirational with cosy feeling where we can explore and connect with others around the world. Let's share love for creating! Let's make friends, drink coffee together, learn about each other… craft together.
Feel free to share your daily art, work in progress, arty products you got, things that could bring smile to others and inspire! Show us your messy table,
I hope we will have some challenges, vlogs, chit chats and more importantly... I hope we will have some fun!

Together with creative souls fom the Cafe we created a weekly challenge! 

We wanted to have something that will bing all of us together!

#52CafeCards challenge is fun game where we create small cards with a theme.

We create in order of alphabet.

So far we had: A - Art, B - Bubbles, C - Coffee, D - Dragonfly 

and this week we have 

E - Eclipse :)

You don'y have to join every week, you may just do themes that suits you best!

You can join at any time and try to catch up!

There is sooo many amazing cards in the group shared from most fabulous people, 

I promise, you will be amazed !!!

Cardboard ATC's by Marta + VIDEO tutorial

Hello friends,

I am back to you with I hope an interesting project, actually 9 little projects.

I created a set of 9 ATC's for Dusty Attic!

Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" x 3.5"

Did you ever make some ATC's ? If not I do hope that this video will encourage you to do so :)

As you can see I used Corrugated Card from Dusty as my base. This is a great way to use some recycled cardboard that you may find at home.

Every card has a lovely chipboard that suit the size and matches to the whole group.

Sometimes I cut my chipboards into smaller pieces. You are free to use any chipboard you have in your stash! Use what you already have!

To colour my cards I used sprays.

Lastly as my final touches I add gems, pearls...flowers.

'My reason to smile' ATC's set for Lindy's Stamp Gang

Hello everyone,

I am very happy to be here with you and to continue my creative journey with Lindy's Stamp Gang. 

 

Today I have a cute set of six small cards for you. I have not make any ATC's in a very long time! It was so much fun to make those. I also have a few photos to share where you can see the creative process with few steps. I started by splashing my background with few sprays.

• Moonshadow Mist: Pirates Plunder Gold
• Starbursts: Sweet Violet Purple Teal, Shabby Turbine Teal and Jazzy Jivin Purple

 

My next step was to cut out elements from collage sheets from my Etsy Store https://www.etsy.com/shop/MaremiSmallArt/ Those were a perfect colour match to my background. I also outlined all the edges with graphite pencil. 

 

As tittle for little makes I added stickers from 7 Dots Studio and star stamps from 7Dots Studio. As my final touch I added shiny gems for some special interest 

from my Etsy Store https://www.etsy.com/shop/MaremiSmallArt/

ATC's are fun to make! Those are also great to swap with your crafty friends. I hope you will find some inspiration in those pieces and create your own!

I love those tiny pieces. For some it could be challenging to work on such a small surface but... I have a video tutorial to show you easy way of creating set like that.
