'Memories Captured' mixed media layout for Blue Fern Studios + VIDEO tutorial

Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing great.

I am back to you with my new page and full video tutorial for Blue Fern Studios.

I had a great pleasure to make this piece.
This amazing photo of two little fairies in the forest comes from Enchanted Fairies.
(Enchanted Fairies is a studio boasting world renowned Photographers, and Special FX Artists specializing in wall portraiture and has raised over $200,000 for local charitable organizations right North Texas). Be sure to visit their beautiful website to see more stunning photos ! 

As you ca see this is very magical page. I wanted to recreate the forest and dreamy scenry from the photo. I added some dry moss, thread to build my page.

 I love the colours of Deja Vu paper collection, so soft and elegant. My favourite way of altering the chipboards is to emboss them with white embossing powder.

'Dream on' journal, stamping technique + VIDEO

Hello everyone !

Did you have a good weekend ?

My one was very busy with kids parties... for those who don't know I work as Snow White. 

Yes, Snow White :) and I entertain kids on their birthday parties.

I love my work but... I love creating too...! I cannot survive without making something :)

Today's work is another experimental piece of mine.

I am not a stamper and I admire stunning works by my crafter friends.

They are having such an eye where to stamp an image.

I am not like that... I decided I need to find my own way ;)

I used tissue paper to have a better control on my stamped images.

I could not resist. 
New stamps from Finnabair are simply amazing !

Hi friends,

I am running back to you to share with you my new project.

This work was created just for myself. I have seen so many amazing colourful creations, journals, painting, visual art and so on... and I felt I wish to try.

I wish to learn how to create those fun pages.

I decided I will record my beginnings in colour journaling.

I got some handy supplies and started experimenting.

 

I loved playing with my new stationary.

I decided I will create some fun, easy to follow journal spread.

I am back to you with my new mixed media journal page for Lindy's Stamp Gang :)

Those who knows me know that this is my favourite way of creating.

This piece is a perfect example for every journal begginer.

I used very basic list of materials, book pages, masking tape, gesso, some random stamps and SPRAYS of course :)

I used colours from April limted edition set

Witajcie kochani !

Finally, finally I managed (after many weeks) :) put together just for you :) a post about my last mixed media workshops. It was all day workshop held by myself and Sylwia from TandiArt.

I have introduced mixed media, romantic layout and Sylwia showed mixed media canvas.

It was an AMAZING day !

I met so many creative souls ! Fabulous pieces were made... and I was so proud of my girls :) 

Can you imagine that some of the ladies had never created a scrapbook page ?! 

It was my honour to show them from where to start, what is the scrapbooking and mixed media all about :)

'Be brave, be bold' assemblage, mixed media canvas + VIDEO tutorial for Finnabair CT

Hello everyone !

I am back with a message: 'Be brave, be bold' in your art !

How many times have you stopped yourself while creating ?

How many times did you think: 'No, it's not great'. Oh 'they' won't like it...

Do you often compare yourself to other artists ?

How often you doubt your art ?

Well my friends... all above should not matter.

We should be brave, bold and have no regrets while making our pieces.
Today's canvas had at least 3 different looks in my head.

I was thinking: No, this is too simple, this is not unique and this is too strange...

Which option I have choosen ?

Yes, the strange one in my mind ;)

Why strange ?

I felt that this doll is not a perfect match... Bare doll with blue hair, scary looking actually.

But should it be perfect ? Of course NO !

When I painted my doll with gesso and accidently covered her with some leftover canvas I knew, this is it. I loved it !

 Step by step the project was coming together and I felt that this small dolly is me :)
Funky, fearless and happy the way she is !
